SUPPORTERS of a Gwendraeth Valley hospital threatened with closure under health board proposals, can attend a drop-in session next week.
On Monday, October 8, Hywel Dda health board will hold the event, from 2pm to 5pm, in Tumble Hall, Tumble.
Hywel Dda is formally consulting about some of the services it provides, with Mynydd Mawr Hospital, Upper Tumble, proposed for closure.
The news has sparked anger in the community, as people in Tumble, Cross Hands and Pontyberem got together at a public meeting in the hall last month.

There, they called on Friends of Mynydd Mawr chairman, Clive Scourfield, to ask for 8,000 questionnaires from the board to be distributed around the county.
But now the drop-in event has been arranged, where questionnaires will be available, with members of the public and patient engagement team on hand to help complete online or hard copies of the consultation.
