Who is using council's box?
BUSINESSES that offer hospitality are told to be careful how often they wine and dine the same guests.
Offer hospitality to the same individuals or companies too frequently, and questions inevitably are asked about inappropriate relationships.
So it is not surprising that some Swansea councillors' very regular attendance at the Liberty Stadium as guests of either the Swans or the Ospreys has come under scrutiny.
The council leader was a guest 66 times between January 2010 and December 2011, the cabinet member for sport 30 times.
They will defend themselves by saying that they were able to network with other guests of the two clubs, to the benefit of the city at no cost to council taxpayers.
But it will seem odd to many that they so rarely chose to promote the city directly by acting as hosts in the council's own hospitality box at the ground. Councillor Chris Holley appears to have done so at only two of the Swans' Premier League fixtures.
So who was host in the council box for the other games, and who were their guests?
