No tries but Penclawdd keep their record
LEADERS Penclawdd kept their 100 per cent record in division three west with an 18-6 win at Pontarddulais.
There were no tries scored, all the points coming from penalties — six by fly-half Dan Guarneri for Penclawdd and two by centre Jonathan Lloyd for Bont.

Llanelli Wanderers got their first win with a 29-24 success at home to Haverfordwest after being 23-3 up at half-time.
Wing Karl Evans, scrum-half Kyle Richards and flanker David Evans crossed for the Wanderers, with full-back Nick Gale kicking one penalty and fly-half Ashley Powell three and a conversion. Haverfordwest earned a losing bonus point with a try at the death.
Llandeilo lowered Tycroes's colours for the first time this season, beating the visitors 20-15.
Tycroes were missing several regulars due to injuries and unavailabilities but scored tries through wing Mike Hopkins and inside centre Stephen Roach.
Fellow centre Carwyn Richards added a conversion and a penalty to put Tycroes 15-6 up, but two late Llandeilo scores, one an interception try, swung it the hosts' way.
Pontyberem are joint bottom with Llanybydder after Pontyberem lost 23-10 at home to Cardigan and Llanybydder went down 31-30 at home to Tumble.
Tumble's forwards laid the platform for an entertaining win. Prop Dafydd Humphries crashed over for their first try and wing Berwyn Jones got the next, both converted by fly-half Steve Hewitt, who ended the game with 16 points with three further penalties in the second half.
Play was getting frenetic, with Tumble's forwards starving the opposition of ball, but with 72 minutes gone, a converted try gave the lead back to Llanybydder.
Tumble redoubled their efforts and retook the lead with five minutes remaining when Dafydd Humphries again charged over from close range.
Tumble looked for a fourth try but were held up over the home line. Llanybydder turned and won the reset scrum and broke out of defence. With the ball moved swiftly to the wing, Iwan Price made a try-saving tackle on Tumble's 22 as they held out for the closest of wins.
Llanybydder full-back Llyr Davies scored 20 points.
