1. West End smash Calendar Girls takes the stage at Swansea's Grand Theatre until Saturday, October 6. Tickets priced £11.50-£29.50, 7.30pm start.
2. Free taster sessions are being offered at the launch of Swansea's new 360 Beach and Watersports Centre on Saturday and Sunday. Sports and activities including beach volleyball, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding and power-kiting will be available.

3. The Bay City Rollers Story will unfold at Carmarthen's Lyric Theatre on Saturday, October 6 from 7.30pm.
4. Head to Swansea's Waterfront Museum for a book swap this Saturday and Sunday. Take unwanted books, vinyls and CDs. From 11am.

5. The RSPCA's Llys Nini animal centre is holding its annual Mutt Strut on Sunday. Registration will take place outside the Civic Centre on Swansea seafront from 11am.
Walkers can park their cars there and enjoy the walk along the promenade to Blackpill, where there will be a Llys Nini tent with lots of goodies on sale. Sponsorship or a donation of £5 is a must, with all proceeds going to the animal centre.
6. Foodies can head to the Neath Food and Drink Festival on Friday and Saturday. Cookery demonstrations, live music, children's activities and plenty of foodie treats and tipples are on the menu.
Local restaurants, cafes, hotels and bars will be hosting food and drink themed events and there will be a programme of musical entertainment in Victoria Gardens and fitness demonstrations in Angel Square. 10am-5pm.
7. Swansea City take on Reading at the Liberty Stadium this Saturday, (3.00pm).
