One-stop-shop service for small businesses opens in Llanelli and Fforestfach
THE Welsh Government's new £6.5 million Business Wales 'one-stop-shop' service to support the growth of small enterprises is now said to be up and running with a network of 11 offices.
The creation of a dedicated business support service for small enterprises was one of the recommendations in the Micro Business Report for Wales, prepared by an independent group appointed by Business Minister Edwina Hart.
She said: "One of the key priorities identified was the need to provide access for micro-businesses to direct and indirect business support from the private, public and third sector that is clear, simple and easily accessible.
"I am pleased to announce the Welsh Government has taken this recommendation on board and that the Business Wales network of one-stop-shops is now available across Wales to provide micro businesses and SMEs with help and advice."
