They will be joined by comic and author Charlie Higson, DJ and music critic Stuart Maconie and Rhondda-born author Rachel Trezise, the first winner of the Dylan Thomas Prize. Also appearing is political satirist and comedian Mark Thomas and author Niall Griffiths along with columnists Grace Dent and Caitlin Moran.
More names are expected to be added in the coming weeks.
Weekend tickets for the festival are now on sale but the entry cost has increased from £65 to £75.
Organisers said: "There is, we're afraid, a price increase. We managed to hold prices at the same level for the last five years but this year's costs are going to be significantly higher, so we've had no choice but to raise prices."
The festival is spread across various venues and tickets are available online or at Castle Stores in Laugharne.
