FERRIE BODDE WILL STAY

Sjaron Vink, a Dutch agent acting for Bodde, has claimed Swansea have agreed to let the playmaker leave if a Premier League club comes in for him during the January transfer window.
He says a gentlemen's agreement was made in the presence of Jenkins after Bodde penned a new Liberty Stadium contract running until at least 2011 back in July.
But the Swansea chairman has laughed off Vink's claims.
"I don't care what he says, there is no agreement in place," Jenkins said.
"The fact is that Ferrie signed a long-term deal with us in the summer and the only people who will decide if he leaves Swansea are myself and Roberto (Martinez).
"I'm sure you people in the media are clever enough to see what agents try to do.
"Let's put it all together, realise the transfer window is coming up and that agents are just trying to do their jobs.
"I consider myself clever enough to understand what's going on and I'm sure other people are too.
"It happens at every club in the lead-up to every transfer window."
West Brom, Bolton, Portsmouth and Middlesbrough have all been linked with Bodde, the former Den Haag player who has taken the Championship by storm this season.
A host of scouts have watched Swansea in recent weeks and the 26-year-old is sure to have caught their eye.
But Jenkins insisted: "Nobody has been in touch with me about Ferrie.
"Derby came in for him in the summer, as everybody knows, but there has never been a conversation or a fax or anything else from any other club.
"There will be interest in our players, whether it's Ferrie or someone else, that's just how it's going to be.
"It shouldn't be such a huge story to report on anymore because there is bound to be speculation about our players when the club is doing well.
"We had it before every transfer window with Lee Trundle — it's just part and parcel of football today."
Vink works alongside Frank Schouten, the man previously named as Bodde's agent, at Fair Deal Sports Management.
After being contacted by BBC Wales, he said: "Ferrie is very happy in Swansea, but we made a gentlemen's agreement that if a big Premier League club came in then they would let him go.
"There is a lot of interest at the moment for Ferrie because he is doing well.
"It is the dream of every player to play in the Premier League."
Swansea rejected Derby's bid of £2million-plus during the close season for Bodde, who cost them just £85,000.
His exceptional form this term has seen the midfielder's possible price tag rocket to at least £4million and perhaps as much as £6million.
But Jenkins is adamant he is not even contemplating the idea of selling.
"I'm not thinking about anything to do with Ferrie really," he said.
"We have got more important things to deal with at the moment, like trying to win at Norwich this weekend."
