Carmarthen pegged back by Bangor
They were held 2-2 with Bangor City at Richmond Park and Old Gold manager Deryn Brace felt a share of the spoils was about right.
"I think we have to be satisfied with a point," he said. "Both camps will claim they could have won it but we weren't good enough to take the chances that came our way.
"We had excellent opportunities — three in the first 10 minutes — to put the game to bed and that's the story of our season so far."
Craig Hanford supplied Tim Hicks in the eighth minute and the striker did well to turn and shoot past Paul Smith.
Jamie Reed levelled soon after with a header from a cross by Peter Hoy.
Nicky Palmer put Carmarthen in the lead again on the half-hour mark, Paul Fowler and Nathan Cotterrall combining well for the latter to supply Palmer, who hammered home in style.
They held on until the 65th minute when Marc Limbert struck a sweet free-kick past Neil Thomas.
The draw leaves both teams in mid-table.
