Friday, August 22, 2008, 08:09

Madonna has revealed some more secrets from her hotly anticipated upcoming Sticky And Sweet tour, including eight costume changes, a "pulsating" two-hour set and 16 dancers.

The star's website Madonna.com reveals that her new show, to promote her Hard Candy album, will feature four main sections. Gangsta Pimp will be a homage to "1920s deco and modern day gangsta pimp".

Old School sees Madge return to her 1980s New York dance days. Gypsy promises a "VIP trip to La Isla Bonita infused by the spirit of Romanian folk music and dance" and Rave is inspired by the Far East.

Madonna has prepared for her tour, which kicks off in Cardiff this Saturday, with a gruelling 653 gruelling hours of rehearsal.

The show will include a medley of old and new hits, while the singer will go through eight costume changes. Madonna will open the show wearing an outfit designed by Givenchy, but more than 30 different designers have actually contributed to the onstage wardrobe.
