Is selling our centres the right idea?
SWANSEA Council has approved a review of its indoor leisure facilities which includes the Grand Theatre.
One of the mooted possibilities for the community leisure centres, the Grand Theatre and the crazy golf course in Mumbles — to name a few — is selling them to a private company.
It is not the first authority looking to find alternative ways of managing leisure as finance officers look to balance the books.
