It's a premier party!
SWANS mania took over the city centre yesterday as visitors were treated to a range of football fun, despite the wet weather.
Games and competitions were staged in Oxford Street and Swansea Market as the countdown continues to the start of the Premier League season this weekend.
The Swans kick off their league campaign against Manchester United at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday. Tickets for the big game were among the prizes made available at Wednesday's event organised by Swansea Council.
City centre manager Lisa Wells said: "The football fun party has become an annual fixture in the city centre every summer since the Swans reached the Premier League.
"Despite the wet weather, it was again well attended and visitors had the chance to try out a variety of football-related activities and games.
"It's one of many events taking place in the city centre over coming months that will cater for all ages and interests.
"These events are important because they attract shoppers into the city centre where they can discover a fantastic range of high street shops, independent traders and our historic indoor market. The city centre party also featured face-painting, balloon- modelling and arts and crafts."
The Swans travel to White Hart Lane to take on Spurs on August 25 in their next league game after Manchester United.
