Two restaurants are hot stuff
TWO Swansea restaurants are celebrating after being named in the top 30 Indian restaurants in Wales, following a public vote.
The Nawab Tandoori, on Christina Street in Swansea city centre, and the Tamarind on Herbert Street, Pontardawe, were both singled out in the Welsh Curry House of the Year 2012 vote.
Gwenda Thomas AM said: 'I am delighted to see that Tamarind has been voted as one of the top 30 Indian restaurants in Wales.
"To have reached this part of the competition shows that this restaurant produces world-class Indian cooking.
All 30 restaurants will be visited by judges over the next five weeks, and served the businesses' signature dish, with the top three to be announced on March 26.
