LLANELLI AFC have been saved from a possible final whistle after paying off debts.
The club had been facing a winding up order in the courts in an action brought by HM Revenue and Customs.
But club bosses have now confirmed all oustanding debts have been paid.
The situation facing Llanelli AFC had sparked concerns across the town.

There were calls for some kind of support from Carmarthenshire Council to keep the club running.
It had not been revealed how much the club owed, but a meeting of Llanelli Town Council heard £5,717.25 plus VAT of rent was currently outstanding on the club's lease at Stebonheath.
Llanelli mayor Winston Lemon said the club closing would have been a "total disaster".
