£6m centre approved
THE Welsh Government's final designs for a £6 million centre for the creative industries have been approved.
It has said the letting of the contract for Porth Teigr in Cardiff Bay is imminent.
Together with BBC Wales's Roath Lock studios, the new centre will form a hub for Wales's successful creative industries sector.
Business Minister Edwina Hart said: "Wales has a strong and diverse creative industries sector.

"It has been identified as one of our strategically important economic sectors with high growth potential.

The six-storey building will be located directly opposite the BBC studios, overlooking the waterfront.
It could accommodate a number of small to medium sized businesses or a single occupier, with room for up to 300 staff.
