£5k for charity bike trek
LONDON to Paris might sound like an enjoyable holiday — but not if you're travelling by bike.
Louise James, of Llanelli, rode the route over four days with 107 other intrepid cyclists with charity Skyline.
Mrs James took on the challenge along with her step son Stewart James and his friend Lewis Phillips, in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, as her grandson has the condition.
The trio have raised around £5,000 and Mrs James said: "I'm absolutely over the moon, and I'm so grateful to everybody who helped.
"My family, my friends and everybody who attended charity events donated money or supported me. I'm thankful to everyone.
"Everybody pitched in, it was incredible."
