HOW many times have we had regrets?
Opportunities to change our lives,
Withdraw remarks, apologise.
In this we are never wise.
Many times in life,
These borders are crossed
Leaving pain, discomfort in wake.
Established are triumphs of temporary state,
Long-term, they keep you awake.
Don't you long to return to permanent peace?
Those memories then long gone.
I'm afraid the answer's not simple.
What's done, not always can be undone.
Respect and morals if any, possibilities for sure,
Human beings will never change.
As individuals, our aim is achieving,
Therefore, regretfully,
Some price will remain.
