I started life with lots of chalks
Drawing pictures on the pavement
The rain has brought this game to naught
As a form of entertainment.
I now make money — twice as much
Teaching budgerigars
conversation,
People buy them for bargain
struck
When they holler obscenities
without persuasion!
It is a degenerate livelihood
I admit, that you will stricture,
However the harm it does is good
— I'll put you in the picture:
Vocabulary is what you need
For a choice of words enchanting
And illuminated loquacity
precedes
Improvements in status quo
advancing.
