“ Once again, we have been treated with the utmost efficiency by Andrew and his kind, caring and knowledgeable staff. We are always made to feel very welcome and our pets think so too, our Great Dane even jumps on the scale as though it is second nature now. The charges are reasonable and you can ask as many questions as you need to, without being made to feel foolish. This new surgery on the Swansea Enterprise Park, was opened in September 2011 by Andrew Burgess MRCVS. Andrew qualified in 1993, and has spent the last 9 years running a multi site practice for a large corporate before deciding there was a gap in the market for a service orientated veterinary practice. Lakeside only employs qualified nurses, and uses the latest in veterinary diagnostic technology in order to help diagnose and prevent disease in your beloved pets. We are also open convenient hours to suit the modern family whilst offering a user friendly website that permits the ordering of prescriptions, registrations and request for appointments. We are also proud to announce our own PET HEALTH CLUB, a way of spreading the cost of care with the benefit of discounts on other treatments. See the leaflet attached.
Our Qualified Nurse Kat ably assisted by Lisa our nursing assistant, are here to help you care for your pet by offering FREE health checks, weight clinics, nail clips and advice. No question is too trivial, so please dont hesistate to contact us either by email or phone.
We also offer 10% discount for pensioners on all purchases and procedures.

“Would highly recommend lakeside vets to everyone, not only cost is very competable they are all fab with my boy! They all give you great advice in simple english and my boy loves visiting Andrew and the girls as they give my boy fuss and treats. They also have a great scheme for flea/wormer treatment, booster jabs etc. So nice to have the same vet everytime so there is no need to explain the same thing over and over if its for ongoing treatment! Best vets i have taken my pride and joy too!! All thanks go to Andrew Burgess and the Girls!! ”

“At last to find A vets surgery that is everything that is knowledgeable, homely, efficient, extremely friendly and caring and reasonable pricing, we discovered lakeside in march when our female staffie bonnie required urgent treatment, they did a fab job, bonnie was fighting fit in 48 hours and since then we have been back with our new puppie fudge, for injections worming etc, now that we have used lakeside we will not use any other surgery, so obviously we cannot recommend this surgery highly enough to anybody out there who are looking for a vets practice.”

“i am a assued k.c breeder,i have been breeding for well over 15 years now and have used at some time or other almost every veterinary surgery in swansea.i have now found lakside and would never use another vets again.Andrew gives a all round service to you and your pet.he is highly professional and a first class vet.the staff are great and very welcoming .he has great patience and will give you all the time you need.you never feel rushed by him or the rest of the staff.lakeside is a excellent vets,its a hight tec vets with a old fashion feel. ”

Lakeside Veterinary Surgery is fab!
“After having dogs for many years and the retirement of our regular vet it was time to move on to somewhere new. Luckily I went to Lakeside Vets and must say I'm very pleased I did. Andrew and the team are lovely! All very friendly and accommodating. Even after a minor operation my dog wasn't best pleased about she still loves going to the vets, I think it's the buffet of treats that has persuaded her. Anyway if you're look for a friendly and skilled veterinary team then look no further!”

Excellent!!!
“I recently had to take my Bichon to Andrew & have to say that having owned several dogs through the years, this practice is absolutely brilliant!! Andrew & his girls are a pleasure to deal with & really put your animal at ease. My Sasha had to have quite an op bless her but I would never hesitate to recommend Andrew. They were all so comfortable with Sasha & really are a fantastic team.

VERY PLEASED WITH SERVICE
“I went to the Lakeside Surgery, only on an off chance that I had a bad service from another Vet. From the moment I walked in, all the staff make a big fuss over my Labrador, Whiskey. Even when he decided to use the floor as a toilet the staff did not make a fuss. I will definitely use them from the future - the good service makes such a difference. westie castration
“We had our 10mth old westie buddy castrated today, the service we recieved was second to none, very friendly staff who explained the whole procedure and after care. relaxed atmosphere would highly recommend to all, try this vet surgery once and you will never go else where, recieved regular telephone calls on my dogs progress throughout, faultless service all around with reasonable costings.”
