Stadium chiefs sue council

SWANSEA Council is being sued by Liberty Stadium bosses.

Stadco, the company set up by the authority to manage the day-to-day running of the stadium, has been involved in a lengthy dispute with the council.

It is apparently unhappy with a number of issues at the stadium, and has instigated legal proceedings against the council.

Swansea Council has refused to provide details of the row, and a spokesman for Stadco failed to comment, despite being given two days to respond.
