School scheme out in open
In his letter (Journal, January 28), he denies Plaid's involvement.
As a new councillor, I attended a seminar in September 2008. There were representatives from the Assembly Government and schools. Assembly officers held discussions on draft ideas and options ready for consultation.
Peter Hughes Griffiths put out press releases attacking the council's executive board claiming secrecy.
Having done internet research, it seems the only people who have been working in secrecy are Plaid AMs. It seems it's Plaid's leader, the Deputy First Minister, who had not informed the Plaid councillors, because on the Assembly website there is an article explaining the scheme.
