Police appeal after attempted bag theft
One of the men aimed a punch at the woman but missed, and then the two ran off.
Police in Swansea are now appealing for information in the hunt for those responsible.
The 58-year-old victim was walking along Guildhall Road North, alone, in the direction of Victoria Park at around 4.15pm on Thursday, December 11.
She was carrying a brown leather bag over her right shoulder.
Travelling in the opposite direction at the same time were two males riding silver pedal cycles.
A South Wales Police spokesman said: "A short time later, the victim felt a hand being placed on her right shoulder, and she was pushed to the ground.
"A struggle ensued as the first male tried to pull the victim's bag away from her. She refused to release her grip on the bag.
"In frustration, the first male aimed a punch at her, but missed.
"Both suspects were then seen to ride off in the direction of The Crown Court."
Male one was described as white, in his late twenties wearing a dark jacket and speaking with a local accent. The second man was de scribed as white and in his late twenties.
