Mums shoot to Swans fame filming tribute

Friday, November 14, 2008, 16:37

THREE Swans-mad Bonymaen mums have had a run-out with their favourite football heroes at the Liberty Stadium.

The avid supporters ran, danced, sang and waved with Leon Britton, Jordi Gomez, Angel Rangel and Dorus de Vries as they shot a music video to promote their new tribute song to the Swans.

The club has already promised that the song will feature at a forthcoming game.

Sally Cullen, Hayley Mogridge and Judith Thomas released their song Who Are We? to celebrate the club's first season in the Championship.

Jordi said: "It's the best song in the world. I hope the fans will sing it."

Angel said: "It means the fans are supporting us and it is very important to play and win games."

The CD, or DVD, could be released to raise money for Ward 11 at Singleton Hospital.

Hayley said: "We had a brilliant time at the stadium with the players and Roberto.

"It would be a dream if the Swans fans got behind the song and started singing it in matches."

Anyone interested in sponsoring the mums should call 01792 464751.
