Jones: No danger of complacency
The hosts lie seventh in their division, just a point off third spot, with the advantage of playing on their own Jubilee Way pitch, so the visitors are geared up for a rousing tussle.
Jones has great respect for his lower-league opponents, having had them watched.
He said: "They are a tidy side and have recently beaten Dinas Powys 6-0 and Ton Pentre 3-0.
"I have had them watched and they must not be underestimated.
"This is the proverbial banana-skin tie and we must be professional about it as, otherwise, we could come unstuck.
"This is a wonderful competition and I keep telling the players we are only four games away from Europe.
"What an achievement it would be to see Port Talbot there for the first time."
Jones added: "The whole of Caldicot will be out to shout their team on.
"It will be a real David versus Goliath tie and we must go about our task in a thorough and professional way."
Jones's only slight doubt is striker Martin Rose, who was forced off with injury in the 3-1 Loosemores League Cup quarter-final clash at home to Welshpool on Tuesday.
"We really bossed the match and it was quite comfortable in the end," Jones added.
"It was a nice draw for us and we put the tie to bed quite early on."
