We need to do more for children
BRITAIN has been accused in the past of not being a child-friendly nation.
A lot has improved over the years but too many shops and restaurants still seem surprised that young children exist, let alone that they might have special requirements.
It is inconceivable that a cafe in Italy, say, would not be able to come to some compromise over warming a baby's bottle.
Burger King appears to have hidden behind health and safety rules to offer a poor service and charge an extra £1.20.

The irony being that suggesting dad Adam John use tap water from the toilets really would have been bad for Maysie-Jayne's health.

“Handing a sealed baby bottle over to staff for heating seems o.k. and Burger King will do so for no charge.
However, asking staff to take part in the preparation of the feed could leave the business open to litigation should the process cause harm.”

“Burger King offer to heat baby bottles free of charge.
Why didn't Mr and Mrs John prepare the feeding bottle at home?”
