Former navy man spots UFO over Llanelli
AN unidentified flying object has been spotted hurtling through the sky over Llanelli.
Local taxi driver Bob Hinton said he saw a "brilliant, absolutely brilliant orange light" coming from due north and heading south overhead near the railway station.

He said: "I said, 'what is that, whatever it is, it must be bloody fast'.
"It was very clearly an orange disc or an orange ball, it was so bright it was like a flare?
"We turned the radio down to see if we could hear any engines, but we couldn't hear anything.
"It was eight to 10 seconds from when I first saw it to when it went out of sight.
"It was going about 6,000 miles an hour."
The strange sight was spotted at around 8.10pm on Saturday night
"I wondered if it was a comet but there was no trail.
"I would like to know what could go that fast," said Mr Hinton, of Kidwelly.
"I was in the Navy for 15 years and for the first five years I was a radar operator.
"I have never seen anything like it."

“Tuesday 11th May 10pm.
Another sighting tonight. Seemed closer to my house. Ran onto my drive to get a closer look. Ive heard some people saying these could be Chinese Lanterns. If this is what im seeing then they are pretty big.
My dad lives 2 doors away from me and i knocked on his window to come and see. He was out within 50 seconds but the light had gone into the distance due south towards the lougher Esturary and he was unable to catch a glimpse. This gives you an idea of the speed this was travelling.
There was NO noise whatsoever. I sit in my parents garden alot and hear all sorts of light aircraft and helicoptors going over or nearby and this is definately not anything like that.
If anyone reads this post please leave a reply and I will be more then happy to discuss this further.
It seems I have a front seat ticket to these lights going over. Im loathed to think its anything e.t. but Id like to know what im seeing and why there is no noise and if there are chinese lanterns being let off why 4 out of 5 of them follow pretty much the same path. The other definately veered off t the West at pace.”

“sitting in front room Thursday 6th May around 9pm when a bright orange light rose from somewhere to the North of Bryn Isaf in a straight line due South out towards the Lougher Estuary. The light was unfamiliar so instantly got my attention. Went outside to follow it but couldnt hear any engine noise. The light disapeared. It moved in a straight line and at a reasonable speed so thought it was a light aircraft on its way to maybe Swansea airport.
Saturday 8th May 2010. around 9pm saw the exact same thing followed it again from window. Went out side - no noise.Again disapeared.
Again thought it must be a light plane but much lower then a usual light plane and light was very bright orange.
5 minutes later another bright orange light exactly the same as the others. This one seemed to be travelling much faster but still no noise.
5 minutes later another one but this time it suddenly changed direction to the west at major speed and disapeared.
My wife can back up all 4 sightings. Not saying it was extra terrestrial but does anyone know if there were private aircraft ot helicopters over Llanelli? Or was there a private function on. 3 one after another??”

“I *do* have a picture that I took and zoomed in on, not brilliant as it was moving but I do have one. Can't upload it here though?”

“I too have seen a bright orange light, traveling towards Newcastle airport round about 28th Feb approx 3am. It was going I would guess about the same speed as a commercial aircraft then suddenly shot off a a hell of a rate, and vanished into the distance.
I am not a nut who believes every light in the sky has arrived from some far off alien planet and so try to rationalize what I have seen, in this case I thought could it have been a meteor entering the atmosphere at a steep angle giving it the impression of moving slowly and then moving into a more shallow angle which would increase its speed to the viewer but I ruled that out because there was no tail which would happen during burn up.
I do believe there's something out there, because too many people see weird stuff, and a lot of the witnesses who come forward to be ridiculed are people like pilots, police and other level headed persons whose jobs involve skilled observation.
People should not be so quick to ridicule those who have seen odd and unusual objects or other paranormal phenomena because if everybody in the ancient past had have had that single minded ignorance we would still believe the world was flat or if you traveled faster than 20mph you would not be able to breath and would perish.”
