Two men appear in court following Briton Ferry robbery
TWO men have appeared in court following a robbery at a Briton Ferry betting shop.
Craig Britton, aged 30, from Neath, and David William McDonald, also 30, from Briton Ferry, attended a hearing at Neath Magistrates Court today.
The incident took place at the Ladbrokes betting shop in Neath Road, Briton Ferry, at 9.07am on Tuesday.
Britton is charged with robbery and possession of a bladed article. McDonald is charged with robbery and possession of a controlled drug.
The duo have been remanded in custody and will appear at Swansea Crown Court on November 8.
Seven other people who were arrested in connection with the incident are currently on police bail pending further enquiries.
