South Wales Evening Post

IN the Post (Tuesday, January 22) there was a piece about snow-hit Townhill. I live in Simcox Estate in Treboeth, which they call Morriston.

There was no gritting in my estate last week, which is a bus route. We did not have any buses running for four days.

I will also call it the land everyone forgot — when we get any snow at all we still do not have any gritting done to our roads.

This Carl Humphrey, head of streetscene, should come out and have a look where I live.

“Did this woman contact either one of her local councillors or the highways department regarding this, or did she just sit down and write a letter to the EP?”
