One person killed and 15 injured as students' coach crashes on A483 Pontarddulais Road
A driver has been killed and 15 passengers injured in a crash between a bus and car.
Police say the driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene following the collision on the A483 between the Pont Abraham roundabout and the turning for Llanedi.
The coach was carrying students from Coleg Sir Gar, and 15 youngsters onboard have been taken to Prince Philip Hospital in Llanelli and Glangwili Hospital in Carmarthen.
All are thought to have suffered only minor injuries.

The crash happened just before 4.30pm, and police say the road will remain closed until further notice while the emergency services deal with the incident.
A Dyfed-Powys Police spokeswoman said officers were now trying to trace the family of the car driver.
She said: "Police are currently dealing with an on-going situation following a fatal road traffic
collision involving a bus and a car.
"A 52-seater bus was involved in a collision with a single car near the Pont Abraham /
Llanedi junction.
"The bus was transporting students from the Ammanford campus of Coleg Sir Gar to Llanelli.
"There were 15 casualties in the bus who were taken to Prince Philip Hospital,
Llanelli and West Wales General Hospital, Carmarthen to be treated for their
injuries.
"Sadly, the driver of the car involved was pronounced dead at the
scene. Enquiries are continuing to trace the next of kin."
She added: "Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Dyfed-Powys Police."
