JOHN Toshack declared himself satisfied with Wales's 2-0 win over Liechtenstein which wrapped up their World Cup qualifying campaign.

Goals in each half from David Vaughan and Aaron Ramsey settled the contest in Vaduz.

Wales boss Toshack said: "I think we deserved to win and maybe we could have had a couple of goals more. I'm pleased with the result.

"We created six or seven good chances, took two and overall I think it was a well-deserved result.

"I thought we gave the ball away at times when we shouldn't have. Quality-wise we weren't as good as we should have been but I thought we set about our task well. I couldn't fault the players for that."

Of his new-look strike pairing — Jermaine Easter and Simon Church — Toshack added: "Jermaine could have had two or three goals and Churchy worked very hard."

Wales defender James Collins added: "It's always good to win the game. I'm not massively happy with the performance but it's tough coming to a place like this and we're happy to win."
