Please give to foodbank
IT really is very sad that in these austere times many families on low incomes are missing meals and sadly going hungry.
Luckily, over the past 18 months, three foodbanks have been set up to help those people in these difficult times in this area.
The three foodbanks are in the following areas: Gorseinon Institute, Lime Street, Gorseinon, (telephone number 07815 534095) which is open on Saturdays from 10am to noon; Llanelli foodbank, c/o OF Elim Pentecostal Church, Myrtle House, Llanelli (telephone number 01554 756051); and Neath foodbank, c/o Orchard Place Baptist Church, Penywern, Neath (telephone number 01639 639658), open Tuesday and Friday from 2pm to 4pm.
Is it possible you could give a small donation of food to help feed these people who are going through difficulties at this very moment? The type of food wanted is as follows: rice and pasta, rice pudding, sugar, milk, tinned tomatoes, tea bags and tinned meat. Any of these items would be most welcome.
