Fire fighters tackle big blaze at Gowerton shop
A BIG blaze broke out this evening (Monday) at a Gowerton shop.
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service was called to Country Stores, Church Street, at around 7pm.
Engines from three stations were called to fight the fire - Swansea West, Swansea Central and Gorseinon. Breathing apparatus, hose reel jets and a vent were in use.
It took almost 2 hours to control the blaze and one engine was still at the scene at 9pm.
