The children of Merthyr Tydfil can be transformed into spooky characters on Saturday 27th September when a free Halloween face painter will be at St Tydfil Shopping Centre. The day will also see a halloween themed routine of singing dancing and cheerleading from Merthyr Youth. Merthyr Youth is a local young persons charity that is run voluntarily by young people for young people. They have over 150 members from throughout the borough and are open seven days a week. They provide activities such as drama, musical theatre, cheerleading, dance, fitness, pool competitions, bingo, quizzes, a Youth Club and they also have a chill out cafe too. The face painter will be based at the bottom of the escaltors from 11am to 4pm (with breaks) transforming children into all kinds of creepy characters from dangerous devils to wicked witches!
