Calling all photographers and film makers: a free Royal Photographic Society event to inspire, enthuse and encourage.

There are five billion mobile phones on the planet and almost every one has a camera. To encompass changing technology and encourage creativity the RPS now accepts moving images and multimedia submissions from mobiles, iPads - pretty much anything you like, really – under its new Multimedia Distinctions flag.

Peter Hayes, FRPS, will be showing and talking about still photographs, audio visuals, film and multi-media productions, so there'll definitely be something for everyone, ranging from traditional to cutting edge.

So, why not come along to Swansea University's Dynevor Centre for Art Design & Media, De-La-Beche Street, Swansea SA1 3EU at 7.15pm on Monday 11th March for a fun evening and dip a toe into the world of image making with a difference.
