Join us for a 6.5 mile circular walk from Earlswood near Chepstow taking in Gray Hill. There will be time for blackberry picking and will include a stop at Parsons Grove for a cup of tea and a tasting session of produce of The Preservation Society Chepstow who offers a 'swapcrop' service in home produced/picked produce. Angharad is offering a free jar for every kg of blackberries you don't need. Sorry no dogs. A couple of steady climbs but its worth it! Can be muddy in places so suitable footwear required. Bring a packed lunch. Berries not guaranteed but the views are fantastic in this lovely quiet corner of Monmouthshire.
No 63 bus between Chepstow and Cwmbran stops at Earlswood 5 minutes walk from start.
Start 10.30 am Meeting at Earlswood and Newchurch Memorial Hall NP16 6A
