Created and lead by the irrepressible Guinean choreographer Idrissa Camara in 2010, Ballet Nimba is an African Dance Theatre Company who combine traditional and contemporary Guinean dance with live music from some of West Africa's finest musicians. Based on the African Ballet, a tradition born in The Republic of Guinea, Ballet Nimba tells the mythologies and history of the region using artistic choreography made famous by Les Ballets Africains du Guinee.
