An easy call not to make or take
DRIVE along any busy road and the odds are it won't take long to spot someone using a mobile phone while behind the wheel of a car.
Far too many drivers seem to believe the law does not apply to them.
For those of us old enough to remember when wearing seatbelts first became compulsory, a similar attitude seemed to prevail then. Now for the vast majority it is an automatic action to belt-up.
Surely it is simple commonsense to see that if someone is holding a phone or texting their concentration is not fully on the road. Police have warned that throughout this month officers will be on the lookout for those breaking the law.
If caught you only have yourself to blame.
