Police are appealing for anybody with information on the incident - or who saw the pedestrian or the cars in the moments before the collision - to come forward.

A South Wales Police spokesman said: "Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.

"The police would like to speak to any person who witnessed the collision or who stopped to provide assistance, or anyone who may have seen the pedestrian or the vehicles being driven prior to the collision and who have not yet given their details."
