We're all doing lunch wrong - says health psychologist
LUNCH is for wimps - someone once famously said.
And for many of us, the closest thing we get to a break is the brief moment we look away from the screen to take a bite from our sandwich.
The idea of actually going out for lunch may seem as alien to some as going home on time.
But according to health psychologist Chris Cunningham - we’re all doing lunch wrong.
He has come up with four simple tips to help us do it right in future.
1. Never eat at your work desk, and separate your mind from your obligations while you eat.
2. Have your meal near some trees and grass to help you relax.
3. Eat with a pal to re-energize your mind.
4. Take time to enjoy your meal.
Well - good luck with those - especially if you can’t get out, you have no trees or grass close by, none of your colleagues or friends have time to lunch with you and you just don’t have the time!
