“Would a domestic sprinkler system require a large reservoir tank and a high pressure system?I know for a fact that a local primary school has an entire out-building devoted to housing the sprinkler system and it only covers 4 class rooms!”

“If the incoming water main pressure is too low then a domestic system may need up to a cubic metre of storage and a small pump. Schools and commercial buildings in general are governed by a totally different set of rules where the stored water requirement is much more onerous.”
