“retepseer - the council tax rise may have been one of the lowest PERCENTAGES in Wales last year but when you apply this lower PERCENTAGE against a council tax bill which is a few hundred pounds greater than Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire etc you get a higher increase in terms of ACTUAL COST TO INDIVIDUALS. Any chance you could get this into your thick head. Council tax in Neath Port Talbot is significantly HIGHER in monetary terms than anywhere else in Wales.”

If any one does a google search get the following "Peter Rees has been appointed Deputy Leader of Neath Port Talbot Council. Councillor Rees, who represents the Neath South ward, holds the Cabinet Portfolio for Social Care, Health and Housing." Fancy that, he says how "Stop trying to put this excellent Labour controlled council down. Costs have been contained over the last six years at least." NPPTCC has tried to shut down services to the North West Valleys of NPT. The One Stop Shop n P{ontardawe is closed now 40% of the working week. NPTCC has tried to enforce Parking charges to Pontardawe town which woul dhave forced many of the businesses to close.

This Labour led council has left a lot to be desired. The sooner we get Councillors who care about thier community the better. Mark Serwotka General Secretary of the PCS stated in a major rally last March that NPTCC was one of the worst employers in Wales and thats saying something.”

Is this the same local authority that risked £20million of NPT tax payers money in an offshore Icelandic Bank and is this the same Local Authority that has signed of on a filthy wood burning Power Station that will once built (lets hope it never does get built) will add to an already chronic chest and respiratory infected area.........not so good a Local Authority when you dig deeper!!”

Special responsibilities for what ?.... Housing offloaded to NPT Homes......Leisure centres offloaded to Celtic Leisure and their still claiming these expenses...Outrageous.

Which covers part of the cimla now I will say this about him if you ask something and he does not know the answer he will find it and get back to you, But the thing I am disappointed most of all, Is Where have the youngsters in the cimla got to go or do and there is a very lot of youngsters in the cimla, There is youth club where they can go, so I will say to all the four cimla councillors stop counting your expenses and do something for the young people in the cimla.”
