Why did my boyfriend disappear at midnight?
BEFORE I start, I wonder how many of you are in the same situation as me?
My boyfriend has just "popped out" to Asda. I don't know why. All I know is that it's nearly midnight and Fifa 10 is out at midnight. I'm quite sure that he's not buying me a lovely present.
Right, I know that i haven't blogged for a while, but I can assure you that there is a genuinely good reason. Yes, I have been out of the country, for a while, actually. Two months altogether and I am devastated to be back. Its such a change. My trip was to Europe, visiting various festivals and landmarks. The trip consisted of:
Flight to Barcelona.
Barcelona.
Benicassim Festival (i'm sure alot of people saw the wind storms that took place? Yes my tent was VERY near there)
Barcelona - again, it was on the way
Montpellier - so pretty, yet so expensive!
Lyon - not my favourite place, loads of begging! I was eating food and someone actually came upto my table?
Strasbourg - very, very pretty, but we went on a Sunday. Everything was closed!
Munich - literally, the best city in Europe!
Ljubljana - clean and pretty, I can see why it's so 'up and coming.'
Munich - let's just say.. On the way?
Berlin - fun & young, but had nothing on Munich!
Krakow - I mainly went to Krakow to see Auschwitz, and it didn't dissapoint. (Without sounding offensive?)
Budapest - Sziget festival. This place has everything! Even people from Swansea! The best festival I have ever been to.
Vienna - accidental visit, our train was delayed. Extremely expensive.
Munich - (again) I just couldn't get enough!
Frankfurt - after getting so excited about seeing a Starbucks, I left my phone on the counter. Well done Nat.
Flight to London Stansted.
Anyway, moving on from this because it seems like so long ago. I have millions of stories to tell, but not enough time. I was home for less than a week, and then whisked off to Reading festival for 5 days. This had NOTHING on Sziget, but I still enjoyed myself. Saying that though, I didn't see one headline act because, well, it just seemed as if they were all going through the motions. The smaller stages have so much more passion for performing, that its such a better show.
Back to reality now though, i'm back in work and finding my feet again. As soon as i arrived back in work, I was appointed "Breakthrough Breast Cancer" champion. A new challenge. How hard could it be? The work is practically set out for you, all you have to do is organise a couple of weekend events.. Or so i thought? With a budget of £10 I set out to look for prizes and ideas for events. Its turned out to be one of the most difficult things i've ever done. Breast cancer month started (October 1st) and i didn't manage to raise a single penny today!
Anyway, must dash. I'm so tired!
Love Natalie x
