Fire crews attend collision
EMERGENCY services were called after a lorry collided with a traffic light in Llanelli town centre yesterday morning.
Fire crews, police and ambulance personnel were called to the incident in Hall Street at around 10.45am.

A fire service spokesman said two appliances from Llanelli were at the scene. He said: "We had a call to Hall Street from the police.
"It was a heavy goods vehicle that mounted the central island and collided with the traffic lights.

"There were no persons trapped there. Police and ambulance were in attendance."
Police officers were directing traffic around the scene of the accident.
An ambulance spokesman said: "On arrival we were stood down as we were not required."
