THEY may be closing this year, but the first class education provided by two Neath schools will carry on.

Education chiefs are to close Crynallt junior and infants schools in Cimla.

They will be replaced with an all-through primary school for children aged 3 to 11 on the same site, using the same buildings.

Standards at both schools have been praised.
