The Burrows hold some fascinating relics from the past but, like so many of the Gower Peninsula's historic sites and monuments, these are hidden away in the landscape...

Born on June 15, 1966, Chris Elphick lives in Swansea but grew up in the North Gower village of Penclawdd.

Married with two children, he works for the DVLA.

He runs several websites including www.welcometogower.co.uk and www.welcometoglastonbury.co.uk and is a qualified photographer, having gained a BA (honours) in the subject at the West Surrey College of Art and Design.

Chris says he has a deep and abiding passion for the Gower Peninsula.
