CALLING all community and voluntary groups in Swansea, Neath Port Talbot and Carmarthenshire!

Applications for our Red Nose Day Community Cash fund need to be in by tomorrow.

With the help of Comic Relief and the Community Foundation in Wales, we have £50,000 to dish out to support grassroots organisations.

It will be handed out in grants of £500 to £1,000 and is being supported by TV presenter Alex Jones, from Ammanford.

Comic Relief UK grants manager Sue Wicks said: "Comic Relief is delighted to be working with the South Wales Evening Post offering Red Nose Day Community Cash once again to local groups.

"With less than one week left to apply, I urge as many groups as possible to get their applications in before Friday for their chance to get a grant from the £50,000 on offer."

As well as groups in Swansea, Neath Port Talbot and Carmarthenshire, organisations in Pembrokeshire and Bridgend can also apply.
