biker death driver avoids prison
A MAN who admitted causing the death of a biker after performing an "Ill-judged" manouvre has avoided a prison sentence.
Gareth Holloway pleaded guilty causing the death of biker John Tattersall after driving carelessly as he tried to complete a U-turn.
Judge Keith Thomas said Holloway made a "ill-conceived" and "ill-judged" manoeuvre.
Swansea Crown Court heard Holloway decided to turn around on the A4138.

Mr Tattersall had been driving his Suzuki 750 motorbike when he hit the rear driver's side and died instantly.
The judge imposed a 30-week sentence, suspended for two years.
