There is a better option
JOHN Childs, the self appointed saviour of the planet, is at it again.
This very green man savages the opponents of wind turbines and applauds the destruction of our green hills and also calls experienced doubters of the previous administration of being dinosaurs!
Mr Childs is himself a dinosaur of immense proportions who is not a councillor himself but can criticise those who have dedicated their lives to help their communities and who the electorate voted for. This is democracy Mr Childs and SOCME is an organisation that wants to preserve their organic way of farming on Mynydd y Gwair.
We want alternative energy but not at any price. What is the purpose of the government taking over local planning issues? It is because they don't want us to have any say in what happens to our communities and our land.

We applaud the decision of Swansea's development, management and control committee in announcing that Swansea's own developer of the tidal lagoon who has tried for years to get listened to is now on the cards (Post, March 9). Hopefully, the inspectorate and the secretary of state will approve. They have been quick enough to give permission to destroy our landscape with turbines that need back up to function and invested millions with foreign investors.
All these applications should be suspended until our tidal lagoon is approved.
This is home grown and Swansea's opportunity to show the world that we are in the forefront of innovation. You must surely agree Mr Childs?
