“ We thought £8.20 was quite a steep entry price. Children £4.50. Although a great place for children you were asked to refrain from shouting etc and keep noise to a minimum as it will disturb the birds. The interactive centre was a great hit. Granny could not manage the tower but we enjoyed great views from the top and could appreciate the size of the wetlands. ”

“Take the brown duckling sign from Parc Trostre or set your sat nav as this can be a little difficult to find. Once here the place is very big and offers plenty of wild life experiences. It is open 7 days a week so it is a good place to visit both in the Spring and the Autumn when other attractions are closed. It has a cafe serving hot and cold food and also has an alcohol license. Sadly no dogs allowed.

“This is an ideal place for a family day out. This magnificent mosaic of lakes, pools and lagoons is home to countless wild species as well as more than 600 of some of the world’s most spectacular ducks, geese, swans and flamingos. Families can have hours of fun in the indoor, interactive millennium discovery centre or take a trip up to the top of the tower for a 360 degree view of the site and the Loughor Estuary.
