Three arrested after woman loses life in fatal collision
POLICE have arrested two men on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a 52-year-old woman lost her life in a road accident in Port Talbot.
Judith Elizabeth Thomas, who was known as Judy, suffered fatal injuries in the collision with a black Mitsubishi pick-up truck.
It happened on Margam Road, near its junction with Cefn Ffynnon, at around 6.20pm on Wednesday.
A 48-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving, while a 47-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.

Police also confirmed a 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and perverting the course of justice.
"They have been questioned at Neath Police Station and are currently on police bail while an investigation into the collision continues," said a South Wales Police spokesman.
Officers are continuing to appeal for anyone who witnessed the collision, or the driving of the black Mitsubishi before the incident, to come forward.
They also want to hear from anyone who saw a red BMW coupe that was in the area at the time.
