Six arrested at home of Llanelli lottery winner Sandra Fosbrooke

SIX revellers were arrested during a birthday party at the home of a Llanelli lottery winner.

Police confirmed yesterday they had arrested six people for public order offences, criminal damage and possession of cannabis following the disturbance on Friday night at a house on Heol Hen in Five Roads.

The arrests are believed to have happened at the 16th birthday party of the daughter of lottery winner Sandra Fosbrooke.

The former Asda shopworker, 51, famously won a £12.8 million jackpot with then partner Ken Henry back in 2005.

The couple — who separated earlier this year — enjoyed a glamorous millionaire lifestyle together before purchasing village pub The Stag.

On Friday, Ms Fosbrooke is believed to have been out of the house, leaving daughter Ffion at her luxury home for the party, which police were called out to break up before 10pm.

A Dyfed-Powys Police spokeswoman said: "Police attended a property in the Five Roads area of Llanelli following reports of a disturbance.

"The call was received at approximately 9.20pm on Friday.

"No-one required medical attention at the time.

"The incident concluded about 10pm."

She said an 18-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man were arrested and charged with public order offences.

Both have been released on bail until December 13 when they will appear at Llanelli Magistrates' Court.

She said a 21-year-old man arrested on suspicion of affray has also been bailed pending further enquiries.

A 17-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray, criminal damage and possession of cannabis, and another two 17-year-old men were arrested for public order offences.

One was given a juvenile reprimand while no further action taken was taken for the other.

Councillor Jim Jones, who lives on the same street in the village, said the police activity had been a shock to residents.

He said: "Five Roads is not used to this, it's very surprising.

"It's a quiet village. The residents will not accept it."

But another neighbour said: "I've got no complaints. I've lived in this village for 55 years and had children of my own.

"She's a lovely, lovely girl. I hope she enjoyed the party. I hope she has another one this Friday."
